The extraordinary teamwork of architect Clem Schaub, builders Robert Lyles and Charles Garrett and SID interior designer
Susan Smith has resulted in a symphony of design, comfort and beauty in this 8,500 square-foot home located in Vero Beach.
This team, each impresarios in their own field, worked very closely together on this project.
From the conception of Clem Schaub's perfectly executed plans through the basic engineering by RCL Development,
on to the builder's intricately finished trim and carpentry, as the home took shape with Spectrum's Susan Smith and
her project manager, Ashley Waddell, searching for the perfect furnishings and their possible placements as well as
just the right colors and their subtle permutations to be used throughout the home. All this was being accomplished as
the work went on. Weekly meetings of the three companies were the norm. Constant on-site visits prevented costly,
time-consuming changes. The team members could then also suggest touches that added to the perfection of the finished product.
